Whilst sorting and indexing images, I came across this stunning image of a ploughman and his horses taking their lunch break. He’s probably having a sandwich and cold tea, his horse are engrossed with having their nosebags of oats. This picture possibly dates from the 1920’s as the ploughman is wearing puttees on his legs. This leg attire was part of soldiers uniform during the First World War. I don’t know where it was photographed.
