Last night, I happen to stumble via FaceBook, upon Adrian Backshall’s Flickr album of superb recentish railway images taken across Sussex. They are stunning!
His short introduction says, “I started work in July 1979 at a small British Rail depot at Haywards Heath we called the Cable Shop. In the later years of my career I tried to photograph the railway tunnels and signal boxes in Sussex and around the South East. I thought this would be a good place to keep them here.”
